This morning as I was walking up Carden Street, I noticed a small feather blowing ahead of me. There was only the lightest breeze, but it hovered just a few paces ahead of me for an entire block. We arrived safely in Winnipeg on Friday. djjo's sister does not have wireless and we are busy with Unison festival activities, so I won't have much opportunity to update for the next few days.

I slept well the past two nights.

Danny and I are planning a road trip to Winnipeg to attend Unison Canadian Choral Festival later this month. The song, "Starlight", for which I wrote lyrics, debuted in Toronto last weekend and in Guelph last night. I told Dad this will be one of the most memorable event in my life so far. Today the Guelph Mercury ran a story about the Rainbow Chorus and the upcoming concert. I was interviewed for the article, and it refers to the song, "Starlight".

Last night, first rehearsal after the concert, the Rainbow Chorus spent the entire two hours rehearsing the new piece, "Starlight"! Many people told me it was a beautiful song. Several told me they cried the first time they read the words.

I think last night's concert was one of Rainbow Chorus's best performances. My little talk about "Pretty Things" went well. Having the opportunity to rehearse it twice helped. I was still nervous, but didn't tremble or lose my train of thought.
